Ludhiana, September 22, 2016: A 30-members delegation of FOPSIA on Thursday departed to participate in Fastners Fair in Milan City of Italy.
The flag off ceremony was conducted in Punjab Trade Center under Sh.Shakti Kumar Sharma Chairman PSIEC, Sh.Vijay Kumar State Director MSME & Shri Mahesh Khanna General Manager District Industries Center.
The delegation lead by Badish Jindal & Shri Raj Kumar Singla.
India is very much lacking behind in technology in regard to fasteners that results into a lot of imports from China & other countries.
Ludhiana is hub of Fastener industries but slowly the manufacturing is shifting to southern and western states.
In Ludhiana, the industry is mostly making the hardware fasteners whereas the Europe is making upto aviation and nuclear Fastners.
In Fastner fair the 600 companies from 60 countries are participating.
It will really help in boosting the fastners technology in India.
