27 police officers transferred

Chandigarh, October 11, 2012: The Punjab Government today ordered the transfers and postings of 27 Senior Police Officers in order to fill up vacancies and on administrative grounds with immediate effect

Disclosing this here today, a spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office said that R.P. Chauhan IPS, IGP/Hqrs. to IGP/Traffic, Kuldip Singh IPS, IGP/Crime to IGP/Modernisation, A.S. Rai IPS IGP/Modernisation to IGP/Provisioning, Shashi Prabha Dwivedi IPS, IGP/Training to IGP/Crime, R.P.S. Brar IPS, IGP/Traffic to IGP/Community Policing (CP) &Training, L.K. Yadav IPS, DIG/PR to DIG/CM security, Arun Pal Singh IPS, DIG/CM Security to DIG/Admn. PAP and Paramraj Singh IPS, DIG/Ferozpur Range to DIG/Border Range.
