2 bodies found in rivulet Awa Khad

Dharamshala, July 14, 2017: Two dead bodies were found today in a rivulet Awa Khad in Palampur Sub-Division of Kangra district, 50-kms from the district headquarter Dharamshala.

Giving this information, SP Sanjeev Gandhi said, “The bodies have been identified as Reetu (40) wife of Sansar Chand of Village Samlehad in Tehsil Palampur and Sahil Dogra alias Goldy (17) of Sansar Chand.”

Gandhi said the cause of death may be due to the drowning, adding that the bodies have been sent for conducting postmortem.

Gandhi told that the postmortem report was awaited and the police could arrive at a conclusion once the postmortem report was received.
